I need some help

So I was wondering if you guys have heard of any hair dressers who might take some short cuts.

My mom and I have gone to the same hair dresser for YEARS and as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized she’s over priced, and it’s that great. My mom has noticed this to but we r family friends, shes super nice, she gives us birthday gifts that r hair products from her salon, etc.

But I’ve tried to stop going to her. This results in my not getting my hair trimmed in rn, over a year. My mom goes every couple months for hair coloring. A couple months ago my mom wanted highlights (curly hair, very short, dark dark brown) and, let’s call her liz, totally botched it. She only color the front of my moms hair (the parts only my mom could see when looking in the mirror) so my mom didnt know how bad it was. From the back it was all brown, and then going to the sides/ front it was really badly highlighted. I got my mom 2 mirrors to show her and she was so embarrassed cuz she didn’t know.

Here we r now, my mom come back from Liz’s again and she HAS RED FUCKING HAIR!!!!! itsnot bright red, its like dark red mixed with the brown and it’s god awful! Idk wtf theyre doing! My mom hates it but liz always seems to suck my mom into these things and charges up to like $200-$300 each time! Idk what to do and did if liz is ddoing it on purpose or what! But have u known any stylist to do this and only color the fronts !? I didn’t mean for this post to be kin but I had a hard time describing without pictures sos prey
