Anyone have Herpes?

I realize this is deeply personal, but I need to confide in someone who has it.

Soooo. I noticed a small bump today inside my vagina lip. Its just one but it itches. Not so bad that I wanna scratch it all day, but sometimes when I walk I notice it itching. Of course I start Googling and everything points to Herpes. We have had sex twice recently and I just noticed it today. So its possible it’s been there and just now big enough for me to notice?

My boyfriend had a small bump on the head of his penis in June 2016, it lasted like a week or two. It eventually shrank and then just went away. Could this have been herpes? It did not itch him or cause him pain.

So now that I’ve noticed my bump, I’m a little concerned. Honestly, I would not be upset if that’s what it turns out to be. It’s herpes, I’m not gonna die. And if I have it, then he probably has it too. I don’t have insurance right now so I can’t go running to the doctor and I think Planned Parenthood is $150. He would need to be tested too.

I haven’t brought up my bump yet because 1, I just noticed it and 2, because he isn’t home from work yet. So what do I do? We won’t have time to really discuss it tonight because once he gets home, I gotta go to work.
