Advice please - sister-in-law failed IVF
Hi,
My sister in law has today found out that her attempt at IVF hadn’t worked. Obviously she is extremely upset about the situation, she went through a lot to get to the point an embryo could be transferred and is devastated it’s not worked.
She’s had a tough year, after being told her and husband would never conceive naturally she fell pregnant which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage.
My husband and I have been trying for a baby and have been lucky enough to fall pregnant after only a month. We haven’t told anyone we were trying and now I really don’t know the best way to tell her?
I’m about 6 weeks at the moment so won’t get a scan for about another 6 weeks, I didnt want to tell anyone until that point but I’m worried I’ll upset her.
Do I leave it longer to give her time to come to terms with her IVF journey?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
