What is your preferred method of birth control and why?

I got an IUD almost 2 months ago and love it so much! The only symptom I’ve had that’s different than the pill is I didn’t have any cramps really on the pill and now when my period comes I have major cramps. That could be because I’m still in the beginning stages (hopefully). I LOVE not having to remember to take a pill everyday it makes life so carefree and easy

I recently got the IUD and I’ve heard no bad things about it. I hated having to remember to take a pill every day, I didn’t want to get cut open for the implant, and I heard terrible things about the shot such as hair loss, extreme mood swings, and severe cramping (worse than cramping with your normal cycle and with the beginning stages of the IUD). Plus, 90% of women stop getting periods completely after 6 months, so that’s a huge pro!

I liked the shot because I didnt have to remember tovtake it daily like the pill but it too me 2 years to conceive after coming off of it so I decided just to do the pill this time because we want more babies in the future and may not want to wait 2 years once we start trying

Ring. The iud gave me HORRIBLE acne and mood swings I just felt terrible with it and I could never remember to take the pill

Personally after having my baby I tried various BC which include IUD, patch, nuva ring and none work for me. They all had their small issues. So I went back to my basic pill. Which i have 0 problems the only thing is yeah you have to remember to take it every day but that's why you can put a reminder on your phone or leave it somewhere where will remember to take it💊💯
