Im about to complete my first 3 months an its been good but I have notice that Im more hungrier and I feel like I gain maybe about 3lbs

Been on the shot since September, had my second dose yesterday. So far, in just a course of 3 months being on it, I have experienced:
-Bloating
-Weight gain
-Mood swings
-I became more sensitive (emotionally 😂)
-Spotting for a prolonged period 
-Breast tenderness
-Cramping 
Not sure how my body's gonna react once the second dose settles, though. But so far, I'm okay with it. I'm planning to switch to pills after a year since my gyno says oral contraceptives are more suitable and healthier for my age. The shot was also my first form of
