Anybody else have this problem?

Elizabeth

So I am currently 10 weeks pregnant. A couple friends, some coworkers, and our family know the news. We are very excited and have been trying to conceive for quite some time now. Long story short, a lot of people who ARE aware of my pregnancy are quick to say things such as “oh, you’re 10 weeks, oooh, I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks” or “are you sure you want to announce at 11 weeks? I lost mine at 14 weeks” etc. I can’t imagine how those precious mamas must feel when something tragic like that happens, but is that really the best thing to say to a worried, anxious pregnant woman? Am I being over sensitive? It just seems like when I finally get to a mental state where I can just relax and enjoy being pregnant someone says something and I immediately go into anxiety/over thinking mode in 0-3 seconds.
