Attempt on inserting Paragard

Dear lord Jesus.

Today I had an appointment to get the Paragard IUD inserted.

My doctor tried 3 different times before giving up and tells me if she were to go any further she would puncture my cervix. She said it was closed shut and not open for any kind of business.

(I have never have delivered a baby, so she said from the beginning it would be difficult to insert)

This was literally the most pain I’ve ever been in.

Needless to say I quickly chose the mini pill.

I am still in pain.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? I’ve seen posts where some women haven’t had any pain at all, pre and postpartum pregnancy.
