Confusion on Ethnicity/Race on forms.

Ok so on most documents for work, school, or whatever, have an option to put your demographics on it. So on the the Ehnicity option is has Hispanic non Hispanic etc. I put down Hispanic. But then on the race it has white, black, Asian, Native American, and I never know what to put down. I always put down Native American because part of my moms family are native Indians from Panama but I don’t know if that’s correct. I honestly don’t see my self as any of the options they put under race so idk
