Are you an organ donor?

If yes, why? And would you donate everything, for example your skin too? How do you feel about donating your organs to (an adult) someone that isn’t a donor? Or someone that has treated his or her body badly? Would you donate your children’s organs if they passed?

If no, why not? Do your religious beliefs have something to do with it?How do you feel about receiving organs if needed? Or receiving organs for your child? Would you donate your children’s organs? Would you accept blood donations or bone marrow?

Personally I am a donor. If I die I hope I can save someone with all the parts I do not need anymore. Honestly, it does bother me that I can’t make the decision to only donate to people that are a donor too (and children of course). Selfish or hypocrite? Maybe, but in my opinion that’s just fair.

Additional info: The reason I’m curious is because someone in my inner circle (24 years old) gives his goodbye party tonight. He is dying soon due to leukaemia. He fought for 11 years, so that makes him a survivor. It just made me think about this topic again.
