bad milk?

I pumped last night into a storage bag and then put it into the fridge. this morning i went to get it out to feed it to my daughter and it looked like it was bad, like it had white stuff in it. i shook it up and it looked normal after that, but is it bad? i fed it to her anyways cause my mom said it was fine but i'm so so scared now that i think about it.

When in the fridge the fat separates, totally normal. Swirl your milk don’t shake it.

It’s just normal fat separation. 
The only reason the cows milk we drink doesn’t separate is because it is homogenized (a process that makes the cream and fat molecules emulsified). Otherwise, if we drank milk straight from the cow it would separate into layers.

It just separated, it's perfectly normal. Swirl it to mix it, and warming it up helps with that too. You are good!

Don’t shake it! Swirl it around. Whether you heat it up or serve it cold just swirl it around for a minute and all the milk will come together and look normal. Its also normal for the milk to be different colors, sometimes it’ll look clear on the bottom & thick and white up top. Again just swirl it around and it’ll all mix in!

Its the fat separating in the  milk, it will  mix right back in when you heat it up
