vaccines?

My husbands parents are coming for a visit after baby is born what vaccines should they get before coming to see baby?? What did you all ask people to get before seeing baby?

I'd never ask someone to vaccinate themselves before they came around my baby.. seems like an overreaction. It's flu season so likely people will be up to date on their flu shots.

some vaccines shed so I wouldn't want someone freshly vaccinated to come near my baby.

I didn’t even ask if they had any shots 🤷🏻‍♀️ My child is perfectly fine

I think my doc recommended a shot for whooping cough for anyone who’s around the baby alot. I’m not positive on that though.

We requested the dtap and to not be sick. If anyone thinks they've been sick or around someone who is I've told them they will not be around us. We've had one relative throw a fit about it but it's just weeding out people who think they can do what they want. (she thinks what's yours is hers)
