Sternum Pain?

Question

Anyone experienced the bottom part of their sternum hurting really bad as if it's bruised, but repeatedly? I started having the pain this evening as I was leaving work, about 6PM and it's keeping me awake. 😔 Is it growing pains? 34 Weeks and 5 Days today 💛

The very bottom point of your sternum, called the xiphoid process, is a muscle attachment point for the diaphragm and abdominal muscles. So as baby pushes up against lungs and it's hard to breath, it makes sense that muscle woke strain, or abdominal muscles would strain under the growing load. Mine was sore a while back, and even did some pop/clicking when I would breath.
