What texture does amniotic fluid have?

Silly question, but as a first time mom who's GBS swab came back positive, I want to be 100% sure I know when my water breaks (that term implies watery texture, but theres like a 1% doubt in my mind. Paranoia I guess) in case its a slow leak.

Mine leaked and it was clear like water, honestly I dont remember a distinct smell with it, I knew it was my water though because kept soakkng thru my undies and pants. It took 3 pair changes to convince me my water was breaking😂

it's clear and it's a gush of fluid definitely felt different from peeing. mine was a slow leak so no one believed me!

It is the same consistency as pee but has a very distinct smell. I can’t describe it but it smells nothing like urine for sure! Both times mine broke it felt like a hush of really warm fluid and I could smell he difference.
