My husband is verbally, mentally, and emotionally abusive.He’s been physically abusive twice now. He’s constantly back and forth between I love you and I hate you. He cheated on me during my whole pregnancy. He constantly puts me down and tells me how worthless I am. I love him but I love myself more. We have a 2 year old who absolutely adores him. I want to leave but I’m not sure how to go about doing such. He will fight me to keep the baby with him and give me partial custody. I work part time right now and barely make enough to pay our rent. I can’t afford to make a move right now and he doesn’t give me access to any of the funds other than what I myself earn. I’m at a loss here. What do I do?

The water is heating up, time to go. Stay with a family member or a friend or m find a women and children’s shelter near you. He will never changed. The abuse will only get worse. Protect your child and yourself and leave as soon as you can

The most dangerous time is leaving. Be safe. If he has physically hurt you twice already, he could be capable of anything.
I would pack and leave when he is not home with the assistance of a local women’s shelter or police officer for the safety of you and your child.
Do not tel him where you will be staying. If he has a locator activated on your phone, make sure to deactivate it.

If you have proof he has been abusive you should be able to use that to show he’s not fit to parent.

Ask a friend in the area to let you stay tell them the WHOLE situation. Try to save a bit of money for food, gas. Pack when he's not home for you and your daughter. Leave at night and stay there until you have enough evidence and money for you to leave.
