How do I swallow a pill?

Question

Ladies I’m so grown rn but I really need to know how to swallow a pill? Everytime I have to take any form of any pill, I always just crush it and it doesn’t taste as pleasant but I just can’t swallow it and idk how to.
I’ve tried putting it in the back of my tongue and then drinking water asap but it (me) would roll it to the front and then yea nothing happens. I’d really appreciate it if someone helped me with this

I have the same problem. I take it with anything other than water. I find it easier to swallow. Take a big drink, tilt your head, i count to three then a big gulp.

I used to be awful at it but somehow I managed to overcome it and now I find it easy even with larger pills. I always place at the back of my mouth and drink with water, but I also found I had to distract myself especially in the start. Like get someone to talk to me or focus on the tv and then just drink as if I'm just drinking the water forgetting there is anything in my mouth already. It took a while but gradually got easier. So its possible 😊

I had the same problem and it’s still sometimes hard for me to swallow pills (for me it’s psychological due to my emetophobia).
I try to mostly get liquid medicines or chewable/dissolvable pills but sometimes that is impossible.
If I am to swallow large pills or capsules I either: 
• chew food, then add the pill into the mush in my mouth and swallow as if it’s just food
• Sometimes I find it easier to swallow pills after I have eaten something- not 1st thing in the morning- so I eat something and afterwards try to swallow with water (this is hit and miss for large pills though)
I find small pills to be much easier to swallow with water however, when swallowing with water, I have one quite difficult tip that works the most:
•Cause yourself to be distracted when trying to swallow with water (watch TV or smth) as I find it to be easier when you aren’t thinking too much about it.
+make sure your mouth is wet beforehand and you put the pill on the back of your tongue.
+sometimes tilting your head back helps
If none of this works you can try the extreme route and used throat-numbing tablets beforehand (I haven’t tried this but it worked for a friend whose problem was both emetophobia and her sensitive gag reflex.)

I have this problem too lol so when i can i get gummies instead or liquid but what i do is try to relax my throat & put it in the back of my mouth & drink water & swallow it like if im just swallowing the water. Try not putting too much mind into it because it'll be hard to even swallow the water since your throat might tighten up.

I have that problem. This sounds gross but it works for me. Take a bite of food, chew it up and when you’re ready to swallow pop the pill in!

I had that problem when I was younger, my mom had to get me liquid medicine. 
Get some water in your mouth and then place the pill in your mouth and swallow it all together

You just swallow it. I’m not really sure how else to explain it. And be careful crushing up pills because some are not to be broken up like that.
