Traditional or Co-ed baby shower?

It may be a little early but hubby and I have been discussing wanting to do a fun co-ed bbq baby shower. I had the girly bridal shower, and I don't feel i need a girly baby shower. My hubby wants to be involved and I'm totally fine with that. have you thought about what you want?

Co-Ed! My mindset is, “we made this baby together, we are doing EVERYTHING for this baby together” lol I hate being the center of attention so having my hubby there will take some of the stress away.

I hate baby showers. I find them extremely boring. But I love a chance to throw a good party. SO we are having a coed gender reveal party in the spring and then a coed meet the baby party in the summer after its born. I'm not having a shower and I'm not going to sit there and open gifts. I don't think we will even ask for gifts...

My hubby and I will be having a joint shower! I think it will be fun to have the entire family together for this fun occasion! I’ve heard of several people doing them lately, I think it’s becoming a thing. Just do what you guys want to do 😊

I did a co-ed for my sister in law and my friend had a co-ed shower. It’s nice that the husbands have their friends there too and I have a lot of male relatives who will be equally excited. Why exclude them? Besides, I thought they were much more fun than a traditional one. But, I’m not one for the traditional stuff anyway. I didn’t have a bridal shower and may not do a baby shower. If I do, it will be co-Ed.

We did a coed for my brother and sister in law's baby shower. He was also excited for his soon to be daughter and wanted to be a part of the celebrations. He invited a few of he guy friends. They all had fun playing the baby shower games! We made sure to include guy prizes such as tools and beer pong sets.
