Makeup suggestions

I have slightly oily skin and I don’t like matte, I like dewy. Whenever I apply makeup, I usually bake and I don’t like the look of it after. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or what. It seem like my skin have more of a glow to it without makeup then with makeup on. When I wear makeup, the areas I bake, look pale, and a little white. I moisturize my skin well enough so that’s not an issue.

To get a dewy look, do I have to bake a little or can I just put a finishing powder over? When I do bake I don’t put that much on.

Also what are some good makeup brands for dark skin?
