I’d say that if you are deciding a man is good enough to be with you then he better think so too. Don’t be with someone who doesn’t treat you like you’re the most amazing human in the world and shows you the hell off

It would be..
Love yourself enough so that you don't lose yourself in a relationship. Know your worth and what you deserve. When you recognize that, you'll learn what's truly important in the relationship and what isn't. Which small things are worth fighting for and which ones aren't.

I'd tell myself to love myself a little more and LISTEN to my friends and family. Every time I don't, I get hurt. Thank goodness that the guy im with now forgave me for leaving for the douche bag I was with when I met him. Now I'm the happiest I've ever been in a relationship and I don't have to fight for his attention or anything. I don't have to beg for him to see or hear me. I just simply be myself and he loves me for it and I wish I could've taught myself this sooner and saved some heartbreak but at the same point, those heart breaks made me the strong independent person I am today and helped me realize that my life is mine. I shouldn't give it up to a guy, no matter how much I love him. He's just to be in it, not it itself :)
