need concealer help!

I don't know that much about concealer. My second pregnancy jacked my skin up! (well, that and never using sunblock!) and any time I try to use concealer, it either doesn't help at all, or it makes me look extremely caked up. These pics don't show how bad it really is. The middle of my face has a reddish brown strip going all the way across from cheek to cheek, with an obvious color difference just below my eyes! what do I do!? I'm including a bare skin pic, and one of me in 4 layers of foundation, which helps some, but not like I'd like! I've tried countering with both green and tan concealers..what am I

doing wrong? Do I just have unrealistic expectations of what concealer does!? lol Somebody help! =)
