Fertility confusion!!!

Y’all, please take a minute to help me out, give me your knowledge or tell me what YOUR doctor has told you, I love my obgyn, I trust her fully.... but after some crazy stories and comments on here I am confused... I had my apt this morning to see what we haven’t conceived yet, I was showing her all my charting like opk my cycles and said I didn’t sound like I have fertility issues... she said if you get digital opk test and I get highs and peaks every month and then a period after that I am clearly ovulating... said there is NO WAY to get peaks on opk if you don’t ovulate, has anyone else’s dr told you this? Or told you opposite!! I would appreciate the feedback! She said my ovaries, cervix and uterus looks great, just waiting on blood results now.
