These are my two options thru insurance, but the spectra s1 will cost an extra $100 if I go that route.

Can you get the Spectra S2 for free? It’s the same as the S1, except it must be plugged in to operate. I have a Spectra and its awesome so I highly recommend, but if you can’t get the S2 for free I’d say just get the Medela. I’ve never tried the Medela, but I’ve only heard good things.

The I have the Medela in style and I like it! Never had any issues.

I currently have a Medela and don't have issues with it. But I have heard a lot of people oreder the Spectra because it pumps faster. So I ordered one to compare.

Personally, I’m all about free. Also, with my first 2 and my current pregnancy I have always used Medela. I ordered a free one through my insurance last week.
