He doesn’t mean any harm.

But our baby name is Max, which was HARD to finally agree on. We’ve been through like 3,000 names. This was the ONLY ONE we both really liked (besides our older sons name).

My husband told his dad about it (baby’s due in April), and his dad has been making jokes. Like “max power” and “to the max”. Like not even mean jokes, just stupid puns.

And now my husband doesn’t want to use Max anymore because his dads making fun of it.

I am SOOOOOOO frustrated !!!!

Should I just agree to give up Max - even though I love it (and my husband used to)? Because, I guess officially now my husband no longer likes it?

Or should I push and try to talk him around?

I’m so pissed.

Either way I know I should approach this tactfully, and I haven’t. Ive been a bit pissy and hormonal lately.

Honestly my initial reaction when he told me he doesn’t want Max anymore and why was “UUUHHHGG Your stupid fucking dad!!!!!” Which, as you can imagine, did not go over well.

I don’t know what to do.
