Revolving towel to dry your hands in public bathrooms. ( sanitary or no?)

Recently my sister took a trip to Utah. The public bathrooms have a revolving hand towel to dry your hands. 
I’m not exactly sure how it works but honestly it made me question the level of bacteria that towel holds. I understand it’s an effort to cut back on energy and paper waste. But is it sanitary?

Bacteria grows in moist places so a revolving towel dryer is basically a nursery for bacteria and disease. Wouldn't use one if you paid me haha I'd rather use toilet roll than one of those

I’d rather get my pants a little damp than dry my hands on a pee dribble rag. 99% sure drunk people get pee on their hands, it drips down to their wrist and they don’t wash their wrists. Maybe I’m thinking too hard

The revolving towels I’ve seen are always two separate compartments for a roll of clean and dry and the wet dirty roll. After you use it the machine automatically rolls up the dirty part. I like them because the material is nicer than paper towels and people can’t throw them all over the bathroom

I live in Utah, and I have never seen that. But that sounds absolutely disgusting.

Seems better for the environment but even that aspect wouldn’t get me to use one 😷 some places just DONT clean as they should, for all I know it could’ve never been changed or cleaned for years. No thanks. 
Tbh though, the environment part doesn’t affect me much anyway since I always just wipe my hands dry on my pants 😂 100% no waste

wanna know why people are influenced to not care about basic hygiene and why there are areas in places designed to be a the catalyst to increase sickness, resulting in more panick for , you know going to the doctor? Why even with antibiotics,  new strains are being even more resistant. ..Man it's a great time to big a corporate player in the health care industry,  especially in the Prescription Benefit Manager industry lol,  life is right.  🤗

I always used to think those revolving towel things looked like men’s underwear and refused to use them. So old school. I honestly have no idea if they’re sanitary or not....clean towel but who knows how far the germs leech up the material
