Kombucha safe??

Hi! Is kombucha safe in early pregnancy? I had it with my last 2 pregnancies that ended in miscarriage. My first two babies I didn’t have any kombucha. I know miscarrying happens with other reasons but I am wondering if the bacteria wasn’t safe?

I’ve read that if you already drink kombucha prior to getting pregnant then it’s okay to carry on drinking during pregnancy, however it’s not recommended to start drinking it once you’ve found out. Maybe it might just be worth not drinking it and trying some probiotics instead?

I’ve read it’s not a good idea - best to probably skip it, especially during first trimester when your risk is higher.
