Seven and a half months after...

I became an Auntie. I cried when we found out my sister in laws water broke, I cried three times in the waiting room with my eldest niece, and I cried that night and the following morning. I did my best to not cry when I held my niece for the first time, but I cried in the car. I would have been due later this week or next week but I get to cradle a little that will only call me Auntie. I’m so happy for my sister in law but I’m so heartbroken that I don’t get to cradle a little that will call me Momma.
