His family and I saw him off after driving him out to take him to swear in for the army. He has 14 weeks of basic, then airborne school (not nervous about that at all! Ha...) So it will be roughly five long months. It feels so different not being able to see or contact him. at least not until I get his mailing address. I love my guy so much and I'm afraid of what the military life will be bringing in the future. I know this training is just the beginning and he can be assigned somewhere out of the country as well. We've already been together for over a year now and I know this is the man I want to marry. May I please have some advice if you're a military spouse? Or if you're not, which is okay.
