After patience, prayer....and lots of BD, we finally got our BFP!!!!

Last night I was unable to sleep due to my level of excitement to finally see our BFP (which is why I’m up so early). After 8 months of ttc post bc pill, hubby and I are finally expecting baby #1 🎊

Just a little run down, my husband and I have been ttc for 8 months now as mentioned above. After spending two years as a family of two we decided that we we’re ready to expand our family. Well long story short, I got off of my birth control pill, which I had been on for three years straight. My periods were super irregular after getting off the pill (33-38 day cycles. I have a history of irregular cycles). I went to the doctor a few months ago to get checked out to see why I wasn’t getting pregnant (6 month mark). Blood was drawn and they told me I had a low level of the hormone that is present in women with PCOS, which could make it challenging to conceive; the diagnosis was not confirmed. The doctor wanted me to wait a full year of ttc before running extensive test. Well this month I was late and starting testing on the first day of when my missed period was supposed to arrive (day 37), to which i received a BFN. Well for about a week i continued to test every other day and continued to get BFN. I decided a few days ago that I was just over it and just decided that I was going to accept the BFN and wait for my late period, also I’m not having any symptoms at all. Well yesterday when I hit day 45 I became really concerned and just decided to test when I got home from work for the sake of my sanity....well to my surprise, I got a BFP!!!! I took two cheapies which came back with faint lines. Per the suggestion of a fellow glow app user I went and bought a FR digital tested to confirm and I got my confirmation! I’m so excited!
