Why is it brown??

Every time I've gotten my period its been red and i went to change and now its a dark brown????...

Someone said dried blood but this is wet and ik it could be normal but i just wanna be safe just incase...

I've had dark red blood but this is so dark and brown idk i just wanted to check

Im in south korea w my bf to see his family and his mom is caucasian american ( speaks english thank god)

and her ob gyn speaks english as well and she took me to see her doctor ( It took me forever to get comfortable enough to ask her about this but she was understanding)

And the doctor said it was old blood and that i sometimes release two eggs ( which figures, twins run in my family) and thats why there was so much and thank god i didn't have anything but it was awkward talking about the last time i had sex when my boyfriends mom was right there. ... lol

But yea im still clean and now my boyfriends mom knows the last time we had sex was a month ago 😂
