Is 30 weeks to soon for a baby shower?

I’m only 15 weeks right now but just planning ahead.  I definitely don’t want to wait last minute for a shower as I want to get everything put away and ready well before the due date.  I’m due early July and am thinking about a shower at the beginning of may.  What are your thoughts?

I read the “best” time is between 28 and 34 weeks so 30 is perfect!

25 week shower. no regrets. gave us plenty of time to buy what we didn't get. set his room up. and didn't have to rush around at all or go broke buying the bigger items!

so, my shower was originally planned for when i was 30 weeks, but it got postponed due to a snowstorm and will now be this weekend when i’m 35 weeks. i was really bummed at first because i wanted to be prepared and be able to buy all the stuff i still needed, but as the date approaches, i’m actually glad it’s later. it gives me something to look forward to. these last few weeks of pregnancy are literally dragging by and this will definitely give me a little boost! and i will still have some time to sort everything out! BUT i will say, some women are absolutely miserable at that point, and i am not one of those. i am feeling pretty decent. so take that into consideration as well.

I'll be having 2 as my sister in-law is flying in to throw me one. I'll be 26 weeks at that one. I'll be 36 weeks at the second. A little later than I would want but it was the only date that worked for my family.

nope, mines next Saturday on the 13th and I turn 32 weeks on the 16th

I'm having one at 28 weeks and 33 weeks... also moving in between then so had to plan carefully and want plenty of time to settle in the new place before here is here so I think you're fine
