I have a question

Sooo I had intercourse on December 31st I started bleeding on January 6 remind you guys my period came early and i don't have any signs that I'm on like no cramps or pain nothing I took a test it was faint idk if the test gave me a false positive or what but now they are negative I know it's too early to test for pregnancy because it's just early but anyways I don't wanna hear that I can't have a period and be pregnant because that's not true it happened to me in 2015 followed by a miscarriage so it's possible. My question is should I test for pregnancy in about 2 weeks because I was told that it's possible that I could be still be pregnant or should I just give it up for the month I need answers HELPPP !!
