Who should get checked out first? 😣😣

My SO & I have been ttc for 1 year, 5 months & 4 days with no luck. I check sometimes with opks to see when I ovulate and they come out dark so I'm sure I ovulate? I don't know who should get checked out first him or me. How much are sperm analysis and how much will it be for me? We can only afford at the moment for one of us to get checked but it's hard for me to pick who first.

I'm assuming you're not in the UK? As on NHS testing is free. So I don't know how much it costs. Just because you get a positive ovulation test does not mean you release an egg and actually ovulate unfortunately it just means your body is releasing the LH to prepare. You need some blood work done to confirm you ovulate and then your partner needs a sperm analysis done tonconfirm all is well in his department then take it from there good luck x
