Question for step parents

Is it normal for a step parent to act weird around an adult step child due to jealousy?

My dad married a lady back in 2005. It’s complicated but basically she never had grandkids of her own. Throughout my wedding she was rude and there was a lot of tension. Now we are TTC she she said she wants “grandkids” but I am wondering if she is going to get weird and jealous like she did when we were getting married.
