Extreme pain while having sex

Hello ladies I was wondering if anyone may have an idea of what this could mean, me and my boyfriend have sex very often with no problem but today when he tried to put it in it cause an extreme pain at the vaginal opening some burning and what felt like as if the skin was ripping, it literally made me want to cry it hurt so bad, we had to stop before he could even put it in, I plan on setting an appointment for the dr but considering they never have anything available earlier than 2 weeks I wanted to know if anyone had any temporary answers for me, thank you and please no rude comments
