Thoughts on Homeschooling?

My husband and I are seriously considering homeschooling our kids (which we don't have yet). He's going to be a stay at home dad and I work from home, self employed. I wanted to be a teacher before I decided to do my current job instead so I'd love to teach my kids. Any thoughts?

Homeschooling can be fantastic, but make sure they socialize regularly outside the home with kids their own age other than family. Homeschool kids often miss out on normal social development because they are always home. This is a crucial skill as much as mathematics

I will be homeschooling my children for kindergarten at least, I want to homeschool them for longer but I'm nervous

I was homeschooled from 6th through 12th. I think my mom was ready to send us back to school sometimes but I loved being homeschooled lol

Sounds awesome, I was homeschooled and loved it. Of course there were times when I wanted to go to public school but looking back now I’m glad I didn’t. I think it’s a wonderful thing to do for your kids if you have the chance.
