Thoughts on parents like this?

I’ll just add I didn’t say I agreed or disagreed. So let’s just say I don’t have an opinion on this as of yet.

The reason I added this is because my mum has decided that all of sudden she cares. Now don’t argue with me on that because it’s a hell of a long story. That honestly would take years to write out.

I work two jobs, I pay rent, I pay for my car fully, I bought it with my money, I pay for all my shit. I’ve always gotten myself around and have for years. I’m almost 19 and want to move out. I’ve wanted to for years. Just didn’t have the income unfortunately.

I bring in three different incomes, two jobs and government assistance. But the government assistance despite it being for me as a young adult to help me in life goes straight to my mother. I get helping to rent, But she takes all the money. I know people who live at home and earn wayyy more than me and pay nothing compared to me.

Anyway she wants to treat me like an adult and expect me to do everything for myself and has since I was basically born. You could argue that’s some kind of abuse.

Now that I want to move the government assistance despite being a legal adult in my country has to have my mum say I can’t live at home. I’ve asked her saying look the extra money from the government assistance would help with a savings for when I move out. Could you just say to the government you don’t want me at home to make it easy.

But nope. She doesn’t want me to leave. So now I’m looking for a third job so I can move out as an adult. Because my mother uses me as an income. I should say she doesn’t work at all. No reason not to. Just lazy.
