Everyone has a birth plan but that doesn't mean it is your baby's birth story. My husband and I had planned to deliver our baby at a midwifery clinic but due to high blood pressures was needing to go to the hospital for an induction. As someone that wanted to go unmedicated, as natural as possible, water birth with delayed cord clamping, to a mother having to go for a c-section after laboring for 48 hours. We are all doing well and healthy!
