Anyone ever have a boil?

So I have eczema and I was just on a round of corticosteroids a few weeks ago (additionally, my sugars may be high), so I’m pretty susceptible to boils. A few have popped up on my skin, the worst two being on my butt and right breast. After they drain, they all heal pretty well. The one on my breast just drained completely today and now I’m left with a hole. It’s not giant or anything, but I can see into it. It is not painful and does not feel hot. There is no bump. I’ve been cleaning the area and applying antibacterial cream and dressing it to make sure it stays clean and doesn’t spread. This one popped up after I saw my doctor, but she took a look at the one on my butt (now drained and healed) and the ones that healed and said it didn’t look like I had a staph infection.

If you’ve had one, how long did it take for the hole to heal? It’s creeping me the hell out currently and I want it gone!
