NEED ADVICE

Hey ladies! I’m a first time mom and after my boyfriend and I discussed name choices (one for a boy and one for a girl because we don’t yet know the gender) I got a lot of backlash from his family for not using family names. I don’t want to use family names for my children because I don’t want anyone getting upset because I didn’t use a different family name, if that makes sense. So, I love the names we picked out and I’m tired of hearing about it. Any advice or has anyone gone through the same thing?
