Something wrong?

I’ve been dating this guy for almost two years now and in the beginning he was sending romantic messages all the time, when i was sleeping as well but slowly he stopped doing that and i have no problem with that but lately i started doing it all the time, calling him so beautiful and wonderful, sending looong romantic messages (like he used to), when he is bussy or when he sleeps so when he checks his phone he can smile

So i was kinda expecting for him to do the same to me but he doesnt...? He just responds with “love you too” or “you too” etc but he never actually tells me that out of nowhere

I once asked him (a couple of months before) why he is not doing that anymore and he was kinda mad at me for asking and saying he is already doing that or smth

Should i be worried? What should i do or say?
