Feel like a terrible mother!

So my son is 9 months old and I am currently at the end of my graduate program in law. I am winding up my thesis and am really busy with it. I am 34 and need this done sooner than later. However, I have to leave my son with my in laws (his grandparents) every day and get holed up in my study area. They are currently living with us so I can still nurse him and be there for his naps. I feel terrible leaving him each time. He clearly doesn’t want me to leave and protests but I have no choice. I will likely stay this busy for a month or so. I feel horrible and feel like he will resent me for this. Will this affect his love for me?
