WHAT did my son pull out of his ear?!?!?

I just finished my workout and my 4.5 year old son is sitting by me and says look what I just pulled out of my ear. It was a reddish/black color and I was thinking wow that is a really big, dirty piece of wax. Yuck! Then he says, "Mom look! It's a ladybug!" A freaking dead ladybug. Soooo gross!!! We asked when he started feeling it in his ear and he said when he came and laid down next to me. We had a ladybug flying around this week so I'm guessing it died and landed on the ground but we vacuum every single day because we have 4 kids and 2 dogs. I'm so grossed out. 😱
