Can’t decide what birth control to get, what would be better?

Side note - we were using condoms but I recently had a scare and I want another form of birth control for dual protection or just to use instead on condoms.

The IUD and the pill are both good options. Personally I would say the pill, only as an anxiety easer. I feel like with the pill you have more control over yourself, you KNOW you’re actively taking the pill and it’s protecting you, if you had bad side effects you can easily stop as well. I wouldn’t want the IUD because I would feel uneasy just putting something inside me and expecting it to work.. seems a bit too easy. But that’s just me! Both seem good.

the shot is what works best for me it covers you for three months and really effective

The pill is my favorite because if you have side effects or concerns it’s easy to stop. Nearly everything else you have to see a doctor to have it removed.
