Postpartum depression

Possible trigger warning

, I got diagnosed with postpartum depression. A mild case, mostly anxiety and low self esteem. They prescribed me lexapro. Have any of you ladies taken it and did it help ?

I love my daughter so much and feel in no way of harming myself. I am just terrified of losing her to SIDS, that I am losing sleep over it by constantly checking on her. I follow all safe sleep guidelines but still am terrified. There are also times I feel like I’m not doing good enough even thought she is a healthy and happy baby. There are times where she spits up or feels warm and I start bugging out.
