PLEASE RESPOND

I know this group is fairly inactive but I need some lds lady advice. Iv recently discovered that while I’m not infertile my body can not survive any more pregnancies after my current (and first) one. I desperately want at least one more child after this. Iv been doing lots of research into lds family services and adoption. Have any of you used this option or know someone who has? How long did the process take? How expensive was it? Any information would help! My husband and I want to know as much as we can about this process so we can be as prepared as possible
