Are people who are dying from the flu dying because they didn’t go to the doctor soon enough?

Are people who are young and healthy dying from the flu because they didn’t go to the doctor soon enough? What about children?

I have known many people who have had the flu and went to the doctor the same day. They recovered in a few days without issue. This got me thinking..

So, do the people who end up dying die because they tried to “ride it out” or use natural remedies?

Now, I am not suggesting this is the only reason why people are dying from the flu. There are people with immune disorders, the elderly, infants, and people with underlying medical conditions. I’m referring to otherwise heathy individuals.
