Baby aspirin???

Question

I had my first appointment today, had an ultrasound and was able to see the saw. The Doctor said to not be alarmed because I'm measuring at about 5 weeks and can be too early. I will be going back in 3 weeks. He advised for me to take one baby aspirin a day because of my history of miscarriages, at least until I reach my second trimester. I have never heard of taking baby aspirin. Has anybody taken baby aspirin for the same reason or have been advised by a Doctor to take during pregnancy? IDK if I should take it or not.

I took it with my last pregnancy and did not miscarry after 2 back to back losses. I actually know a few women who did the same and they ended up carrying to term.

update spoke to my RE and he said that there are studies that say baby aspirin can possibly prevent miscarriages and some neural issues that could possibly happen. He told me it is just a safety precaution. but I must take it daily til I am 12weeks.

My doctor put me on baby aspirin when I came to her for help TTC in March. She said it could help prevent miscarriage if I were to get pregnant. Now that I'm finally pregnant, she wants me to stay on it through to week 35 (barring any complications), not only to stave off miscarriage, but also to prevent pre-eclampsia.

I was told by my doctor that a baby aspirin will help prevent preeclampsia, I had preeclampsia during my last pregnancy and I wish I had know how to prevent it, I am going to take baby aspirin starting at 16wks this pregnancy to prevent preeclampsia.

I take baby aspirin but I also did IVF so it's apart of my med protocol. Currently 7wks4days pregnant. I will ask my nurse why exactly do I take it, cause I have no clue...hmmm
