Meat Curtains or a Penis Flytrap?

I have meaty lips (long, darker, different sized labia minora). It’s uncomfortable. Sometimes gets stuck/in the way during sex, nicked during shaving,irritated during waxes, rubbed (sometimes raw) from simply walking and running; I adjust myself like a man does with his balls, constantly & it’s so embarrassing for me.

Ya know ‘Fruit By The Foot’ fruit roll ups? I feel like Labia By The Foot because they literally stretch and dangle. I just got over a sore patch healing up from another shaving nick and the pain I went through this time around for a week with the swelling,etc. was ridiculous. I’ve brushed it off but I’m now highly considering t h e surgery, not for “pretty” reasons, I just want to function comfortably.

It’s scary to think of someone cutting down there but it’s just too much labia; how do I go about this? Recommendation by my gynecologist? Any help, advice or experienced insight on the matter?
