Is it wrong of me to not care if my SO goes through my things?

I see so many women on here who TRIP THE HELL OUT when they hear that someone lets their SO go through their phones/things... Am I crazy for not caring?

No, it’s your preference. However I would be pissed off. To me it’s like they’re disrespectful/untrusting.

Its just annoying , id be upset if he grabbed my phone to "check up" on me. Like do you not trust me? I just dont understand the need to go through your so's things if everythings going alright ?

I wouldn’t care one bit like you. I’ve got nothing to hide from him. I feel that some women who get mad when their SO goes through their stuff it’s because they are hiding something.

I mean its one thing if he's taking it from you and looking. But if you both have nothing to hide it's fine. Hell I gave my SO my phone in the beginning and said "go ahead" cuz I didn't have anything to hide.

Its not that you should be upset but you should absolutely feel a bit disrespected. To me, it’s a lack of trust. The only person who’s ever gone through my things was my college boyfriend. And that was a controlling and abusive relationship. In a healthy relationship, no one should feel the need to go through each other’s things. So regardless of whether or not you mind it, it’s not healthy normal behavior.

If your SO asks to go through your things, you say yes, and you are fully aware of his/her intentions, then yes. It's fine as long as you are allowed to go through his/her things as well. 
If s/he just randomly goes through your things without asking you first, then that is definitely a violation of privacy, regardless of if you have anything to hide.

The only time I mind is around holidays/birthday when I have pictures of his presents or present ideas on my phone or the links are still up😂 Any other time I don't care if he looks through my phone or uses it to do something. I do the same with his occasionally 😂

I would let him go through my things. It’s usually just out of a curiosity, and not an untrusting motive. 
if your partner insist on going through things to make sure you’re not cheating or something then that is disrespectful. 
sometimes my partner just wants my attention and so he might playfully take my phone partly out of curiosity and partly to see what i’m doing and to make me pay attention to him instead. it’s all in a loving manor. he would never make fun of me for anything on my device or look through my phone secretly.

I dont trip the hell out cos i dont have anything to hide, but it gets annoying.  Feeling like you're being monitered like a child, also I discuss personal stuff with my girlfriends that I'd rather him not see too much off.
