Transitioning baby to her own room?

How young is too young? When did you transition your baby out of your room?

We pretty much did the first entire year in our room, and then a month or two after alternating. He sleeps in his room by himself now and does fine at 18 months

There is no right answer. However the AAP recommends waiting at least six months to help reduce the risk of SIDS. But everyone does things different.

Mine only slept in the bassinet for 2 weeks he sleep better on his crib. When ever he fall sleep is when i swaddle him and it have work for me. He hated been swaddle especially his hand tuck inside that is why i do it when ever he is sleeping and then he just slept for hrs. Like tonight he slept for 7 hrs i freak out lol and woke him to feed him. 
You can put him on his room when he takes naps and he will start to get used too that is how i did with mine. But every kid is different. Try to see what works for you.

It all depends on when you feel like she’s ready. I transitioned my son to his room at about 3.5 months old. I wasn’t super ready for him to go, but he was growing out of his rock n play. So I moved him to his room and then when my husband would wake up and leave at 5am, at that feeding, I would bring him to bed with me. I did that until about 7 months old. Then he always wanted to sleep with me so I quit cosleeping so he could get used to his own bed. He’s almost 2 now and sleeps very comfortably in his own room. It’s worked out for us not to cosleep.

We did at 6 months then she got Sick and came back in around 8 and wouldn’t leave. (Her and I are both to blame 🙈) She’s 10 months now and on her 3rd night back in her room!
