Baby's first gift!

When I was born, our neighbor was an artist, and he made a pastel drawing in honor of my birth. It's hanging in our living room.

Now anticipating the birth of our first little one, I wanted to carry on the tradition! A friend of mine from high school is an amazing artist, so I commissioned a piece from her to match the woodland theme of the nursery. It just came back from the framers' and I am just so in love with it! The photo doesn't do justice to all the details in this pencil drawing!

It makes me so happy to have a piece of art that our child can cherish for their whole lives.
